its Mercury Retrograde, not Mercury in Retrograde. Mercury the planet that rules communication looks like its not moving! Its like when you ask someone a question and they just sorta look at you, without answering. Know that all things that support communication like you phone, computer your eyes and your ears can be affected, so be gentle with yourself. I see this as a beautiful opportunity to rest and relax and lots and lots of self care and I do NOT make any major decisions at this time if I can help it. An example is that if I am going to make a major purchase and I have already decided that I am going to do it and the time is right, then I go ahead and do that, If I have been considering a purchase but haven't made the decision, I wait for Mercury to station direct and then I make the decision. Mercury retrograde happens about three times every year and I plan my major decisions and events around this
