Hi I'm Jessi!

For the past 10 years, I’ve been helping people of all ages & fitness levels reframe their relationship with movement. As a Holistic Fitness Trainer, I not only train people’s bodies, I also help them shift their mindsets to befriend movement as a tool for mental well being & physical vitality.

Yoga has been a life-changing tool in my life. It rescued me from cycles of chronic back pain & anxiety attacks. And now, the mindfulness of yoga is a building block for everything I teach.

Through my training programs, retreats & 1:1 coaching, my goal is to inspire people to love their bodies, so they can live pain-free & inspired to stay connected.

I utilize training in Yoga, Pilates, Strength Training, Massage Therapy & Mindfulness, to help people establish a reliable connection with their body & give them a framework for movement that empowers consistency & adaptability.

I’m always on the hunt for tools that give more natural energy, manage stress & keep movement pain free. I want effective & efficient strategies to minimize burn-out & keep me doing what I love to do. But, there is no “one size fits all.”

I’ve been an athlete my whole life. I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old & I played competitively through college.

Years of playing competitive sports taught me so much about hard work & being on a team, but they encouraged an all-or-nothing perspective to exercise that led to several major injuries & chronic physical pain.

As a young adult, I was always busy, I studied theater, visual arts, music & marketing. I acted in plays, sang in choirs & music groups, was on the event planning committee for a club on campus while working several part-time jobs.

After college, I felt drawn to become a “business woman,” so I got a corporate job & served tables in a restaurant for several years. I struggled to settle my hi-energy down behind a desk. And sitting for long hours led to increased anxiety & pain from my sciatica.

I was desperate for a fitness regimen that would serve my business career lifestyle, my mental health & my need to stay active.

Weekly yoga classes were the only thing that gave me relief. The unique physical & mental challenges empowered me to feel strong in my body again.

Soon, I no longer depended on my weekly chiropractic adjustments & my body began to transform from aggressive soccer-beast into graceful-lioness.

Yoga quickly became a lifestyle tool & I wanted to learn more.

In 2012, I quit my corporate job & I graduated from a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Stella Luna Yoga. I was passionate to share this miracle drug of yoga & I started teaching right away.

The benefits of practicing yoga went far beyond my mat. I became more conscious with my communication. I began to release some of my perfectionist stress. I slept better & I began to liberate my creativity.

Being a Yoga Teacher opened a world of possibilities for me. I quickly leveled-up my training & graduated from a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training & then a 6-month anatomy & kinesiology intensive course.

Shortly after, I became certified as a Personal Trainer, a Strength & Conditioning Coach, then Zumba, Spin, TRX & Pilates.

Pilates was another mind-blowing experience.

Through my Pilates education I learned more about anatomy, core engagement, & alignment techniques that elevated what I have to offer as a teacher & coach.

Pilates is the art of stability & coordination.

Yoga is the art of presence & flow.

Together these mindful movement practices provide a foundation for everything I teach.

In 2019, I co-created a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Stella Luna Yoga School. I lead workshops, retreats & train eager yoga teachers about functional anatomy & the importance of safe sequencing.

In 2020, I graduated with a certification in massage therapy from Panacea Holistic Bodywork College. This more hands-on approach to wellness provided a deeper perspective on how I can help others feel better in their bodies.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve taught in sports training facilities, yoga & pilates studios, fitness gyms, & worked privately with clients throughout southern California & now Las Vegas. I spent several summers traveling with Nike’s Elite Youth Basketball League as the recovery trainer, representing CytoSport’s Muscle Milk.

And I now run my own online business.

All my training allows me to customize my coaching plans to fit the unique needs of each client.

I provide the space & strategies to help people connect with their body & find movement that compliments their current season of life.
