If you feel stressed, a Yoga retreat will be the perfect get away to reset and recenter yourself.

A retreat is a period of time to withdraw from day-to-day life, in order to reflect & recenter.

This can be done alone or with a group. The intention is to step away & do something out of your ordinary.

At a Wellness or Yoga Retreat, you step aside from everyday concerns to relax & care for your body-mind-spirit. This may include opportunities to detox, to learn ways to improve health or fitness, to revive with spa therapies or meditation. The activities range depending on which retreat you decide to go on.

It is truly a gift for yourself.

In today’s world, it is easy to get caught up in our daily responsibilities and concerns. And before you know it, you are operating on autopilot. Work-Eat-Sleep. Work-Eat-Sleep.

And you get stuck just trying to hold it all together.

Common issues like; low energy, headaches, poor digestion, self-doubt, physical aches & pains, high blood pressure and many more are all caused by getting stuck in autopilot and too much stress.

Going on a Wellness or Yoga Retreat is the perfect remedy to living in our modern world.

Here are 3 Signs You Need Wellness or Yoga Retreat:

1. You feel anxious and stressed more than you feel content and happy.

This may show up as:

  • Constantly saying things like: “I feel anxious,” “That gives me anxiety,” or “I am anxious.
  • You can’t seem to turn your thoughts off. Your thoughts feel like they are racing out of control - overthinking, worrying, thinking of worst case scenarios, ruminating about past hurts and upsets.
  • You feel like you are carrying heavy baggage everywhere and you are unable to let things go.

2. You never feel rested.

Do you wake up early? Wake up late? Do you feel like even when you get what is supposed to be the “correct hours” of sleep you still just don't feel like you are rested?

This is a sign that your nervous system could use a reset, and a retreat is the perfect opportunity for that.

3. Unhealthy habits and Negative Self-Image.

Do you feel like your life’s gone off-course? Do you constantly choose food that is not good for your body? Do you fill your mind with gossip and complaining?

On social media - do get stuck scrolling, comparing yourself to others, always putting yourself down?

When you post are you constantly looking through filters trying to change the shape of your face? Do you think you are too thin? Too Fat? And you just don't like what you see in the mirror?

These are all examples of getting caught in autopilot.

You are not being mindful about what you allow into your space and your psyche. You feel hopeless, undervalued and lost in the overwhelm of too much media, too many opinions and not enough belief in yourself.

A wellness or yoga retreat is a time to step away from your usual day-to-day. To hit the rest button on how you view yourself and the world, and consciously choose something different.
